Sagas & Sass is the brainchild of Tara Lynne of Geek Saga Entertainment. While we began as a live webcast whose episodes were later turned into podcast episodes as well, we have been podcast-only since spring 2023.
Season 1 premiered on October 7, 2020 and covered Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse through the end of April 2021. Season 2, dubbed “Dragons, Earthbenders, & Djinn” kicked off in May 2021 and ran through the end of that year.
Season 3, “The Lure of Babel”, covered Josiah Bancroft’s Books of Babel series and The Gilded Wolves trilogy by Roshani Chockshi, and most recently(ish), Season 4 – “Break the Chains” – has focused on the Red Rising Saga by Pierce Brown!

Tara has spent the last dozen or so years talking about ASOIAF and GoT, but they had an intense desire to discuss some of the other series that they love! They can also be found organizing Ice and Fire Con or playing various versions of Red Dead Redemption.
Jonathan is a middle-aged fan of almost all things in the Fantasy, Science Fiction, Comic Book and Gaming realms. Watching Star Trek with his father is the first memory he has. His favorite book series is A Song of Ice and Fire, and his favorite SciFi novel is The Forever War by Joe Haldeman. Participating in this podcast will force him to put emphasis back on old school literary fandom that seemed to be going the way of the Dodo.
